Automatic Server Logs

For each visitor to our web site, our server automatically collects anonymous user information such as:

• point of entry,
• pages visited,
• browsers used,
• computer platform

This information is used for internal review and is then discarded. The content from the server logs helps us improve the overall usability and content of our web site. Our server logs do not record the visitor's email address or any other personal information used to identify the visitor.

Volunteered Information

We have up-to-date security features in place to protect personal information provided to Cynthia Victoria via our web site submission pages, such as

• store account registrations,
• affiliate program accounts,
• newsletter sign up,
• feedback form

The information provided by visitors is used by Cynthia Victoria staff to conduct business, such as processing orders or distributing affiliate payments.

Personal Information

The personal information you provide to us, remains with us and only our internal staff has access to it. We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. We respect your privacy and do not sell or distribute your personal information.

Contacting Registered Users

We will contact you via the information your provide, only when you have requested that we contact you or if there is a problem with your order or account.

Newsletter Mailing List

We send newsletters only to users who have signed up via the newsletter registration on the home page of the Cynthia Victoria site. You may opt-out of the newsletter at any time by "unsubscribing" to the newsletter on the home page of the Cynthia Victoria site. The newsletter mailing list is stored in a separate database from the registered store accounts. Opting out of the newsletter will not adversely affect your store account settings. The newsletter mailing list is automated, so when you click the "unsubscribe" button on the home page, your email address is immediately removed from the database. We do not duplicate this list, so you do not have to worry that your email address will be mysterious added back into the newsletter database.

You may subscribe to the newsletter again, after having previously opted out. However, our mailing list software will automatically send you an email asking you to confirm your registration. Your email address will not be added back into the newsletter database until you have confirmed you reregistration by following the directions in the email you received from Cynthia Victoria. This is a security measure we have in place to ensure that reregistered email addresses added to the Cynthia Victoria newsletter are truly opt in addresses.

Cookies

We do not set any cookies for the Cynthia Victoria site. We do set cookies for users who register and/or purchase from the Cynthia Victoria Jewelry Store.

Jewelry Store Registration

We may use customer information provided by registered store users for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy policy. If our business practices change at some time in the future we will post the changes to this privacy policy page and notify you of these changes via email. You will always have the ability to opt out from these new uses and/ or cancel your registered store account.
